Lane Trace Assisst (LTA) is a part of Toyota Corolla's active safety technologies set - Toyota Safety Sense. When active together with full range Adaptive Cruise Control, it helps the driver stay in the centre of their lane by detecting lane markings, or in case they are faded or missing - by following the path of the preceding vehicle and gently assissting in steering control. It works in a wide range of speeds, both high, suitable for the highway, and low - almost to a standstill.

While the majority of Toyota Corolla vehicles are non-hybrid, full hybrid variants were added to the Corolla range for the 2017 facelift of the model's eleventh generation. The most recent (as of 2022) twelfth Corolla generation extends the electrified range, offering two hybrid powertrain options, both featuring full hybrid technology again. No mild or plug-in hybrids are currently available.
