Despite Mazda CX-3 being an SUV and Mazda 3 - a compact car, the hatchback-styled Mazda 3 is actually longer and wider, with the CX-3 measuring 4275 mm (168.31 in.) in length, 1765 mm (69.49 in.) in width, and between 1535 mm (60.43 in.) and 1545 mm (60.83 in.) in height and Mazda 3 Hatchback - between 4420 mm (174.02 in.) and 4505 mm (177.36 in.) in length, 1755 mm (69.09 in.) and 1770 mm (69.69 in.) in width, and 1440 mm (56.69 in.) - 1470 mm (57.87 in.) in height.
Curb weight of Mazda CX-3 is between 1155 kg (2546.34 lbs.) and 1550 kg (3417.17 lbs.) and gross – between 1690 kg (3725.81 lbs.) and 2070 kg (4563.57 lbs.), depending on the modification.
Fuel consumption is quite low across the whole Mazda CX-3 range. Variants, powered by 2.0-liter petrol engines achieve economy of between 5.8 l/100 km (40.55 mpg) and 7 l/100 km (33.6 mpg).
All petrol-powered Mazda CX-3 vehicles have naturally aspirated engines. All diesel variants, however, are turbocharged.
No hybrid or fully-electric Maxda CX-3 variants have been included in the model range, so far.
A four-wheel drive platform is available as an option in the Mazda CX-3 range. Otherwise, it is a front-wheel-drive model.
Mazda CX-3 seems to be performing quite well in terms of reliability. According to owners, it is solid, well-built, and has no major common issues to lead to expensive repair.
