Volvo V50Specs for all generations of Volvo V50

Volvo V50 measures at either 4514 mm (177.72 in.) in length, 1770 mm (69.69 in.) in width, and 1452 mm (57.17 in.) in height or 4522 mm (178.03 in.) in length, 1845 mm (72.64 in.) in width, and 1457 mm (57.36 in.) in height, the latter being the dimensions of the 2008 facelift variants.

Volvo V50 is slightly longer than most V40 variants, with width and height of the two models being about the same. Generally, V50 vehicles also offer more trunk space.

Volvo V50 can be quite fuel efficient with fuel consumption figures starting at just 3.9 l/100 km (60.31 mpg) (2007 Volvo V50 (facelift 2008) 1.6 D DRIVe (109 Hp) start/stop), reaching 10.1 l/100 km (23.29 mpg) (2007 Volvo V50 (facelift 2008) 2.5 T5 (230 Hp) AWD Automatic).

It uses a 5-cylinder 2.5-liter petrol engine, having four valves per cylinder and a DOHC design with variable camshaft timing. It delivers an output of either 220 or 230 Hp and 320 Nm of torque.

The T5 AWD variants are, indeed, all-wheel-drive. The rest of the vehicles in the range are front-wheel-drive.
