Volkswagen TiguanSpecs for all generations of Volkswagen Tiguan

Fuel economy of Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 diesel varies between 4.5 l/ 100 km (52.27 mpg) and 7.5 l/ 100 km (31.36 mpg), with most variants' official figures being on the lower end.

The 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan II (facelift 2020) measures 4514 mm (177.72 in.) in length, 1859 mm (73.19 in.) in width, and 1675 mm (65.94 in.) in height.

Unfortunately, the Tiguan is not praised for its reliability. Owners describe it as solid, but at the same time having many major common issues, having to do with the car’s engine and cooling systems, gearbox problems, and a potentially defective tow bar locking mechanism.

The price of a new Volkswagen Tiguan plug-in hybrid variant starts at just over EUR 42 000 for the base model.
