BMW i8Specs for all generations of BMW i8

Although the latest version of BMW i8 is a hybrid, it can also act as pure-gasoline or pure-electric vehicle, too. Its just not so eco-friendly, if you run your i8 on gas only.

The i8 is a hybrid supercar which combines great speed, handling and unique design from outer space.

No, but the latest BMW i8 is offered with hybrid power technology. An electric motor and a three-cylinder petrol engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology synchronously power the new vehicle.

The system output produced by the electric motor and engine acting in unison has increased to 374hp.
