Just days after the release of Octavia SportLine, the speculations of an upcoming Scala RS are starting to exacerbate. According to the swirl of rumors, the Czech automaker is, in fact, planning a Scala RS.

Whether or not those rumors will turn out to be true, it is still unclear. When last year Skoda debuted Vision RS, it was assumed that the concept was meant to pave the way for something bigger, perhaps a future modification of Scala.

If that's the case, then Scala RS could come with a hybrid powertrain - a combination of a 1,5-l internal combustion engine with 150 hp and an electric motor with 102 hp (the combined power of both is 245 hp).
Also, this could mean that the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h will be locked at 7,1 sec and a 70 km electric range.
Still, Skoda Scala RS remains unconfirmed.
