ABT RS Q8 - the beast boasts over 700HP

12 February 2020

Audi RS Q8 is famous for its agility, despite its weight of 2,4 tonnes. The extraordinary dynamics of the sporty SUV is a result of the hard work of the engineers and the refined high-tech decisions. The standard vehicle offers very good performance numbers with its 600hp and 800Nm of torque.

But the specialists from ABT Power Performance Upgrade raises the bar as usual, and succeed to create their own control unit named ABT Engine Control (AEC). It upgrades Audi's engine and adds some 100hp more and the torque raises to 880Nm. The optimal suitability for everyday use of the amazing vehicle is ensured by numerous engine protection measures, TÜV certification and several testing procedures.

ABT is known as the world's largest tuner of Audi and VW vehicles. As a standard, their works offer extreme driving experience and enhanced automotive technologies. One of the most attractive and interesting solutions is the electronic suspension integrated into ABT Level Control(ALC), which allows the SUV to be lowered in three stages:

Each of them offers a different centre of gravity and respectively different dynamics of the vehicle. In Coffee Mode, the RS Q8 is at its lowest position and emphasizes, even more, the coupe-like silhouette of the sporty SUV.

ABT gradually expands the range of additional components offered with the reworked model. All available extras and optional equipment are available via ABT Configurator Service.
