Specs for all generations of BMW M4

GTS is the track-focused version of BMW M4 Coupé. To deliver this level of performance its weight has been decreased by 27 kg (60 lbs.), compared to the standard M4 Coupé, and output has been increased to 500 Hp and 600 Nm of torque.

The whole BMW M4 range consists of considerably powerful and fast variants. The fastest, however, when it comes to maximum speed is the GTS 3.0 (500 Hp) version, reaching 305 km/h (189.52 mph), while in terms of acceleration, the BMW M4 (G82) Competition 3.0 (510 Hp) M xDrive M Steptronic takes the lead, going from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds (0-60 mph: 3.3 seconds).

Standard and Competition versions of the BMW M4 all reach a maximum speed of 250 km/h (155.34 mph). For the high-performing CS and GTS variants, top speed is increased to 280 km/h (173.98 mph) and 305 km/h (189.52 mph), respectively.

Initial BMW M4 Competition variants have an output of 450 Hp and 550 Nm of torque. This was increased for 2021 model year to 510 Hp and 650 Nm of torque.

BMW M4 is powered by either a 2979 cm3 (181.79 cu. in.) or a 2993 cm3 (182.64 cu. in.) 6-cylinder twin-turbo engine, depending on the modification.

All BMW M4 variants are powered by 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged straight-six petrol engines, no V8 engines are fitted in the range.

Along with automatic transmission options, the BMW M4 is available with a 6-speed manual transmission, as well.
