Alfa Romeo Giulia is a compact luxury sedan. The model, produced in the 1960s and 1970s, measures 4140 mm (162.99 in.) in length, 1560 mm (61.42 in.) in width, and 1430 mm (56.3 in.) in height. Dimensions were increased for the 2016 model year variants, length being 4650 mm (183.07 in.), width - 1874 mm (73.78 in.), and height - 1438 mm (56.61 in.).

There are three engine options for the Alfa Romeo Giulia, produced between 1965 and 1978: 1.3-liter (1290 cm3) and 1.6-liter (1570 cm3) Twin Cam I4 petrol engines, and 1.8-liter (1760 cm3) Perkins 4.108 I4 diesel engine.

Some Alfa Romeo Giulia cars perform quite well in terms of speed. The ones that really stand out are the Quadrifoglio variants, that go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds (0-60 mph: 3.8 seconds) and reach a top speed of 307 km/h (190.76 mph).

The top end Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio is powered by a 2.9-liter V6 turbo engine with Ferrari-inspired technologies, producing the considerable output of 510 Hp and 600 Nm of torque.

The 2.2 JTD (136 Hp/ 180 Hp) variants take the lead in being the most fuel efficient in the Alfa Romeo Giulia range, with consumption figures of 4.2 l/100 km (56 mpg).

Alfa Romeo Giulia from the 1960s and 1970s features a rear-wheel drive platform only, while in the recent vehicles range, four-wheel-drive options are also available.

Alfa Romeo Giulia is undoubtedly a sporty car, with some impressive high-performance variants in the range, but generally, it does not classify as a sports car.
