The sporty 2016 model year Alfa Romeo Giulietta, equipped with a 1.7-liter turbocharged petrol engine, is currently the best performing variant in the range. It produces 240 Hp and 340 Nm of torque, goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 6 seconds (0-60 mph: 5.7 sec), and has a top speed of 244 km/h (151.61 mph).
The major part of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta range is quite fuel efficient. Variants, powered by 2.0-liter diesel engines are, as well, on the lower end of consumption, with economy figures of 4 – 5.2 l/ 100 km (58.8 – 45.23 mpg).
Fuel tank capacity of Alfa Romeo Giulietta is 60 liters (15.85 gal). The petrol/ LPG variant is also equipped with a 38-liter LPG fuel tank.
Old Alfa Romeo Giulietta (116) is, indeed, a rear-wheel-drive car. More recent model years variants, from 2011 onwards, however, are changed to a front-wheel drive.

Alfa Romeo has had some bad reputation, when it comes to reliability, and despite it getting better in recent years, the Giulietta model’s reliability reports have not been great. Common issues, that owners experience, are loss of power while driving, engine turning off by itself, electrical problems, increased fuel consumption.
